TPPInternetFrom WHMCS Documentation[edit] Supported Features
To enable the TPP Internet Registrar integration in WHMCS, simply go to Configuration > Domain Registrars > Registrar Settings. Then choose TPP Internet from the dropdown menu of available registrars and click Go to view the configurable options for it. You will then need to enter your user id and password of your TPP Internet API account. Your API client id is the same as your reseller login without the CL- infront. So if your username for TPP Internet's reseller portal is CL-12345 than your user id for WHMCS would be 12345. Your password is the same as your reseller interface. Changes to your password in the reseller interface will affect your API password, so becarful when changing this. You will need to maintain positive balance with TPP Internet in order to register, transfer and renew domain names. [edit] API QuirksThere currently seems to be a quirk in the TPP Internet API in that it only accepts the first 2 nameservers entered. If you have more than 2 nameservers (i.e a third) you will need to login to your reseller web interface at http://resellers.tppinternet.com/ and manually add them. If your client is attempting to change nameservers inside WHMCS, you should advise them that they must first remove the nameservers, hit save than go back and add the new nameservers in. Over-typing the existing ones will not work. This seems to be an error with the TPP Internet API and not WHMCS. [edit] TPP Internet: IP Lock DownIn order to use the TPP Internet API, you must first contact them and let them know the server IP address where you will be connecting from (the server IP address where you have WHMCS installed). This is part of TPP Internet's security measures to prevent unauthorised users being able to submit registration requests to your account. Server Modules |
